After receiving
a computer while in high school, I taught myself how to program
and have been actively engaged in programming for about eighteen
years. I thoroughly enjoy this kind of work, and continue to learn
something new every day; it's an exciting and challenging field.
I currently own 3 computers and I work with them everyday. I have
very good knowledge of Windows in every version as well as computer
networking and graphic design. I currently maintain and operate
several websites on the internet which are listed in detail later
in this resume.
I would
like to further my career in this area and learn more business-related
subjects. Currently, I am working in 3D graphic design and video
production. I like writing games and creating something new for
everyone to enjoy. I have many new and original ideas and have many
of my own programs for doing small tasks of which I have released
into the Shareware community. I also have developed several web
sites, and have dealt extensively with computer aided 3D raytracing.
I have a
special interest, and I think talent, in both art and mechanical
drawing, and have had very sound training and experience in both
fields, as well as computer-aided design. CAD is an area in which
I feel I have significant latent capacity that I would like to develop.
I was recently
employed with Funco as a Manager of the Oceanside store #70 in Oceanside,
Lake Grove and Stony Brook stores in New York. I was with the company
for about 6 years, and have a thorough understanding of retail store
operations and requirements of managerial positions. I've got a
special understanding of video games, and the various aspects of
video production and purchasing. As well as hobby related merchandise.
I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to present my qualifications
to you in person or to your representative.
Sincerely,

James
